Conférences CJPME « Occupation israélienne en poursuite judiciaire »
En Juillet 2008, Bil’in a entamé une procédure judiciaire à la Cour Supérieure du Québec contre deux enreprises Montréalaises : Green Mount International Inc. et Green Park International Inc. Ces deux entreprises ont été accusées de contruire des appartements sur des terres Palestiniennes étant sous occupation militaire Israélienne : ces actes sont illégaux tant en droit international, que Canadien et Québécois. Ce cas, qui n’a aucun précédent au Canada, sera présenté en cour cet automne.
CJPME organise une série de trois conférences en présence de M. Mark Arnold, avocat Canadien représentant Bil’in.

CJPME Conferences « Israeli Occupation on Trial »
In July, 2008, the Palestinian Village of Bil’in launched a lawsuit in Quebec Superior Court against two Montreal companies: Green Mount International Inc. and Green Park International Inc. The two companies are accused of building condominiums on Palestinian land under Israeli military occupation: actions that are strictly illegal under international, Canadian and Quebec law. This unprecedented case will go before the Court later this Fall.
CJPME will host a dynamic panel discussion with the Canadian lawyer for Bil’in Village, Mr. Mark Arnold, and other distinguished panellists as they explore the case and its implications for Canada, Israel and the Palestinians. Attendees at each event will be given the opportunity to donate to the legal fund of Bil’in Village, should they so choose.
